Participate in community goals, get affinity with different factions, bounty hunt, pirate, ferry passengers, mine if you choose to - not be forced to yak resources constantly, smuggle illegal goods, ply boring but profitable trade routes if that's your thing, go on missions with fellow players

Anyway, RotTomb Raider is out for ps4 next week, so I suspect NMS might get put down.
