There’s a difference in having an opinion and pushing an agenda that simply isn’t true. Clearly you believe everything you read online, your lack of intelligence is clear to see by the way you write and the fact you jumped straight into the “idiot Geordie” train. Run away with the 60k you supposedly have in the bank and were so desperate for everyone to know and stop repeating the same shite day in day out

I put video on for the geordies to watch easy no big words go google it / town hall meeting already said nissan credit rating is junk no one will invest. Go look at shares instead of watching your team get beat again toonlad

Taking a swing at someone for not being able to read is a bold move when you yourself can't write.

You have to applaud the audacity I guess.

Japanese automaker Nissan Motor Co is actively seeking a long-term investor to stabilise its operations during a year marked by declining sales and major restructuring.

According to a report by The Financial Times, Nissan is targeting institutional investors, such as banks or insurance companies, to replace part of Renault’s shareholding.

Urgency to find an anchor investor has heightened due to increased market pressures, with sources close to Nissan stating that the company may have "12 or 14 months to survive", as quoted in the report.
12-14 months as financial times are saying not me a buisness reporter 👍🏽 toonlad

First of all..relocate from Luton to Ellesmere??? Fat chance.
Secondly, people in the westernised car industry will rue the day they started pushing EVs.
Was it the car industry pushing it . Or governments pressuring them to go electric and more eco friendly
At the end of the day if nissan did pull plug on NMUK . The North east economy would be massively hit . Everyone knows someone who either works there or indirectly. And the North east economy depends on nissan

Not me toonlad sky news now time to wake up car industry is fo@@ed

Incomparable. Nissan have done over 10 million units in sales the last 3 years, Vauxhall just over 2m.

I don’t disagree the industry is struggling but to be spouting the crap you are and saying they are going bankrupt is ridiculous.

Just like any business when it’s not making as much money as it forecasted, it’s restructures. You obviously haven’t went to school for a while and have no idea how businesses or the real world works.

Approx 250 lads from EMP currently still working at Luton so it's just sending them back. This isn't really EV related, more a decaying site that's been screaming for investment for years. It's been marked for closure 5 or 6 times in the last 10 years or so. It was just a matter of time sadly. The majority of vans they make are Ice, EMP is now 100% EV.

Obvious solution is to nationalise the Luton site and bring back British Leyland. What could possibly go wrong?
