Nissan

Haway then what’s people put on there blue sheets. I put
4.5% & £2000 year 1
4.5% & £1000 year 2
Time served able to enter platinum pension.
 

Not nissan but cat have laid off over the weekend. I knew they have a rep for doing it just before Christmas but still. A bit closer to home as my cousin is now on the lookout, the options don't look the best at the minute

Ahh my sister's step son works there. I'll have to check with her if he is affected. Usually I would recommend he signs up to pin point to try and get in at one of their Nissan suppliers but alot of our temps got laid off over the weekend too.

I hope it picks up again in the spring but think this down turn could drag on for the long-term.

Yeah 150 gone apparently including my cousin and a lad I know. Bit of a shame as they loved it there. Looks like it'll be back to nissan it nissan supplier then

We have had a lad who has left our place and came back 3 times going between us and Caterpillar. I know Hitachi at Aycliffe isn't great at the minute either. Manufacturing seems to be really struggling all over.

It’s a dig at the negotiation process the whole thing is ridiculous ! asking people to put random numbers that they think they should get on sheets without having any facts , the company should have to lay the facts bare profit margins etc etc etc then negotiate a fair rise from there the process is ridiculous
