Rumours are flying about at the moment.
Overtime to be scrapped after tomorrow.
running out of parts from certain countries
Furloughed from friday
Thats just 3 I heard today

Shocked me that more car dealers aren’t reducing prices and willing to make deals. No dealerships I’ve been to seem bothered.
Cars are flying out atm and have done since the return from the 1st lockdown. They don’t need to try and sell them they are going without the dealers breaking sweat

Don’t know I’m just listening to a manger of a major dealership in sunderland area.
I’m not wishing it, but maybe after this next lockdown. A lockdown plus December and January, when nobody buys a car. They could be desperate come spring.

Possibly

Or people have now twigged on expensive holidays are a waste of money and are getting their priorities right by getting a decent car, sorting their homes out etc.

Work I’m pricing is for all ages. They are working from home most of the time and realised their houses are shit and need an extension etc. That and pure boredom for some.
I, certainly been an upturn in younger people spending like. That may well be down to no swanky holidays,. Its a difficult one to explain tbh, no one could have have forseen this when we were in first lockdown. I remember me and you being very pessimistic at the thought of the next year recession. Its bonkers tbh.

Mind, I was astounded when I found out the prices of some holidays recently. People dropping 10k on a family holiday. It’s insane.
