Nick Woltemade

We want him to be shit, but let’s be honest: he’s not.

He looks a totally unique player. He is going to be a success, his touch is excellent, he uses his physique well and he is a good finisher. Afraid that’s quite the package.

Doesn’t seem to be doing them much good though, their midfield seems quite porous this year and that means it’s easier to get at their slow defence. If we played them tomorrow, I’d be quite confident that our midfield would outwork them and Isidor would match up well against them.

Keeping Woltemade quiet will be the biggest challenge of the derbies though. Sorry, lad does look good.
If Ballard marks him in the derby, he’s fucked. ;)

That goal yesterday was class tbf. The big freak.
It was chos like and he’s had a great start. However one of the reasons we’re currently above them in the league is we’ve had 6 different players score in our first 8 games. He’s got over half of their goals whereas our 5 1 goal legends have nearly double what Isidor has.

I’ll take team effort over their love in of a famous number 9 or whatever the fuck they wank over any day

I hadn't realised that only him, Bruno G and Osula had scored in the league for them this season so far.

He's scoring goals, but his lack of pace is hurting them. They can't press as well as they did with isak up there, so although he's scoring, the whole team is suffering.

End of the day they look worse than they did last season, so i would still argue they're missing isak.
Wasting your time with an insight like that on here 🤣 it’s all just about flying about the pitch, making ott flying tackles and making aimless dribbles taking on players🤣. This is why the likes of Bardsley, Tariq Lamptey and Patty are highly regarded on this board and players like Lee Fee and Talbi are called ineffective because people don’t have comprehension of positional sense or work off the ball

I was initially startled at the number of Tariq Lamptey threads on here. Now I eagerly join in the celebration, discussing all things Lamptey

Quite the hero for many like me. Cultish status for us Sunderland fans

No idea who Patty is like

I’ve just posted on the Mukiele thread why I use Lamptey as an example 🤣

I have to say when Isaak left the mags it would be a difficult job to replace him, but they look like they have more than did that. So my question is how long before one of the big boys come in and buy him.
Hopefully he goes on strike in January because they wont give him his dream move to a Champions league chasing club.

He seems ok like, he’s the best of the bunch of the mad transfer this summer. But £70m is an insane amount for the lad. He’s weird like, reminds me of a bit more mobile flo same sort of style of play for a big lad but he’s faster than flo was. He’s carrying their goal threat atm though which maybe a lot to ask for a young lad seeing that wissa seems to be out for a while.
We spent 25 on brobbey and he can hardly get off the bench . Even though I didn't really rate the lad from Chelsea if he hadn't went back he might have saved us a few quid . Hopefully im wrong and hes a success in the long run. But the lad at Newcastle reminds me a bit of quinn and brobby well gives jozy vibes .

Just tell Ballard not to move an inch away from him in the derby game

Then keep Gordon quiet and let Grant boss the 2 Brazilian wannabe hardmen in midfield

Job done

He's a good player, good with his feet and is scoring goals.

I reckon if Wissa had been fit he wouldn't have started.
At some point teams will work him out and he'll have to up his game.
