Mukiele

For those who don’t know I followed PSG quite closely when I had work involvements in France. Mukiele has always been highly regarded in terms of ability and has been phenomenal for us so far. Achilles heel if you’ll pardon the pun is he’s similar to Ballard with injuries. Just seems to get minor setbacks really often but so far touchwood been fine for us. I’m amazed he’s managed 5 or 6 consecutive full 90mins but hope it continues. Reassuring that we have two other good cb options

Not just him, nearly every long throw I’ve seen this season is a foul throw, on the pitch, back foot up. So poor for a pro. Then the amount that are foul throws just short is equally astounding.
I reckon its more likely that what you think is a foul throw isn't. If youre saying nearly every long throw is a foul one. Thats bollocks.

Sometimes you get a player like that but you get 2-3 years out of them injury free, see Ross Stewart. Praying for a bit of luck and it’s us.

Hope so from him breaking through he’s always been a very naturally talented player. See evidence of this that he seems to be good mates with the likes of Mbappe and Dembele on social media through coming through the ranks of the France setup with them

Well if none of them are getting penalised then it's probably not a foul throw, they said on commentary that Wolves were complaining to the ref that Mukiele's foot was off the floor when he was throwing but the ref still didn't give a foul.

Doubt they’ll come here mate 😆😆
I wish if they did some on here would be saying they need to run at their man more or be less lazy (as they wouldn’t comprehend world class players having the positional sense to not have to fly about the pitch or dribble pointlessly down closed alleys 🤣)

A perfect example of this and the one I always use was I was just by chance watching Brighton a few years back and saw Tariq Lamptey make his debut and he was like a 7 year old chasing the ball about the pitch and only focussing on his play on the ball leaving huge gaps at the back and playing like it was a free form 5 a side game. Was hauled off shortly after half time and I opened this board to see a thread with the usual suspects raving about how good they thought he was and they hoped the injury wasn’t bad (they thought he’d played a worldie and didn’t grasp it was tactical). Sure enough he was sold abroad for peanuts this last summer and the same posters were stunned wondering how someone that good had been let go so cheap 🤣🤣🤣

It's very difficult to spot a foul throw with a run up (unless it's subject to VAR). Easier when the thrower is standing to take the throw.

It is a foul throw to the law but it’s not being pulled up so poor officiating from the assistant. Not the referees call.
If we score from one they will check it and I reckon it might be chalked off. Daft thing is mukiele runs at it and then practically stops before throwing it anyway. I’m not losing any sleep over it but will be a bit gutting if it costs us a goal at some point

A very similar one was Doak playing for Scotland against Greece. He was the only one getting on the ball and running at them .Good to watch. His play otherwise was a disaster. No tracking back and the Greeks played everything through the space leaving Robertson massively exposed.
He got hooked after 60 by Clarke and the commentators went mental raising questions about Clarke’s tactical nouse. Ryan Christie filled the gap. The Greeks didn’t have an outlet and Scotland went on to win .

had the heating on last night, Ill get back in my den. 🤣
Before you go, can you give us a full summary of planes to be watched in January?
Where are they currently? How flight-ready will they be from Jan 1? Where are they expected to be operating by then? What is our best plane formation? Etc. etc.

Some people are saying he is lifting his foot but I need to see the proof. Sounds like a bunch of typical online rumours that somebody has made up and its spread. Show a video or photo or its not happening.
