Odds are it'll be a far less competitive division, the three teams coming down are absolutely dire, while the teams coming up aren't particularly special as well as having off field problems (Bury). I'll stick my neck out and say it'll be yourselves and us as faves for the top 2, let's see what happens between now and August as to what sort of teams we'll be putting out.

Was going to start a similar thread. You'd probably think the first 3 would be most likely for promotion, but obviously it'll be playoffs at best for one. Coventry and Blackpool are type of club where it could easily go one way or the other. Generally it doesn't look as strong and quite lucky that Bolton look to be in a mess.

Sunderland
Ipswich
Portsmouth
Rotherham
Doncaster
Coventry
Peterborough
Lincoln
Blackpool
Oxford
Burton
Bolton
Fleetwood
Southend
MK Dons
Bristol Rovers
AFC Wimbledon
Tranmere
Rochdale
Shrewsbury
Wycombe
Accrington
Gillingham
Bury

Hard to disagree with that top 6. In what order is anyone's guess. Ipswich appear to be the early bookies favourites at 7/1. Be interesting to see how good / bad they really are.

History suggests otherwise, but hey-ho

From 1960, Portsmouth had one season in the top division in the 80s and then didn't make it make it back until the 2000s when they were throwing more money at it than everyone else. This adventure on money they didn't have lasted 7 seasons before they were relegated, imploded financially and they haven't been back.

History doesn't suggest they are bigger than Ipswich or Bolton

How many league championships have they won? Average attendances? Best to have trophies on the board than 'remember that season we finished in the top 10' They aren't bigger clubs than us, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Us two and Ipswich

Who’d have thought before the season started that Luton would have one of the automatic spots?

The division does look significantly weaker, but there’ll be one or two that significantly overachieve and surprise.
