I’m glad none of you hold a grudge against me for messing up the deal with Shekih Mansour all those years ago. That would’ve been NUFC who had just completed the treble this year, yet you still shop in my stores and sell out SJP. For that I say, ‘thank you’.
best twitter account by far

Doubt he'd sign anything through all this uncertainty like.
If I was Rafa I'd be signing any new deal like a shot.

Imagine signing up to a five year, 6 million a year Contract and then being told next month by the Arabs

"sorry we don't want you. Here, have the rest of your contract in full"

.Swiss prosecutor Daniel Zappelli has confirmed that 37-year-old Sheikh Falah bin Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan will be tried on charges of assaulting Silvano Orsi with a belt in the La Reserve hotel four years ago.

Mr Orsi, 39, claims that he was repeatedly attacked after refusing homosexual advances from the sheikh and has since been unable to work because of his injuries. The sheikh, in evidence to a pre-trial closed hearing last year, claimed that he merely had a 30-second scuffle after he was accused of being gay.

The case will be heard before a three-man tribunal that can impose a sentence of up to two years in prison.

Mr Orsi, of Rochester, New York, says he was having a late evening drink with a Saudi friend when the sheikh sent over an unsolicited bottle of champagne. It remained unopened on the table and a few minutes later, according to Mr Orsi, the shiekh came over and accosted him. When he resisted, the sheikh attacked him and beat him savagely his belt.

Which is why I am kind off starting to believe this has some legs (going to get all excited now then piss and moan because I fell for all this shyte when Ashley says "they were tire kickers") the talks between Ashley and Benitez have stopped. Around the 17th too, which now appears to be when both parties signed an agreement and sent it to the Premier league, if sources are to be believed

This would make the "fit and proper test" quite interesting

People pointing out he's an arsehole is just people pointing out he's an arsehole. You, more than anyone, should understand that.
That’s biting. Just ignore it. I’ve never replied to one of his posts. Everyone took my stance he’d have been gone long ago.

As it is I still get a chuckle at those who can’t resist nibbling.

Hmmmm will go take a scout around then. Thank you.

Ok well Ashley has not denied a single thing thus far, which he usually does to be fair, so maybe this has some legs after all.

Sky Report ..........

Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed Al Nahyan says he has provided proof of funds to Mike Ashley and agreed terms between the two parties have been forwarded to the Premier League over his attempted takeover of Newcastle.

The Bin Zayed Group, of which Sheikh Khaled is chairman, issued a statement on Wednesday which they said aimed to "clarify" timelines surrounding the proposed takeover.

The statement said: "In consideration of the numerous speculations in regards to the timelines of the acquisition of Newcastle United Football Club by Bin Zayed Group, we feel the need to issue this statement.

"Terms have been agreed between us and Mike Ashley; these terms have been reflected in a document, signed by both parties, which has been forwarded to the Premier League.

"The proof of funds statement was forwarded to Mike Ashley's lawyers on April 17 2019.

The so called fit-and-proper Premier League process is a standard procedure which will take time, and we are doing all we can to assist the Premier League during this process.

"We feel the need to clarify this point in order for the fans and the general public to understand the timelines."

The Bin Zayed Group and was attempting to "complete the transaction at the earliest opportunity".

Ashley wants around £350m for the club he bought 12 years ago. Newcastle have been the subject of previous unsuccessful takeover attempts from Amanda Staveley and Peter Kenyon in the last two years.
Fuck it’s going to be fantastic when these turn out worse than Ashley

If it happens
