Why would he quit? He has years invested in this side and probably prefers to see where he can take it rather than start from scratch somewhere else.

He's trying to get him to change by getting him to relax to policy of not signing older players, paying the going rate for wages, make improvements to the training ground, streamline the transfer process. Etc, need I go on?
Would he have to start again from scratch though? If he is as good a manager as he is made out, a top club with an infrastructure of a majority of good players should not be a problem.

 How the fuck would you know all that like?
Answer me this if Rafa signs a new contract will he be accepting his lot just like Pardew?

Definitely would have to start again. His success in management is a result of how well his teams are drilled and that isn't an overnight process.

That there is an ongoing negotiation and he hasn't bitten Ashleys hand off and signed an 8 year deal probably answers that for you. It's pretty obvious that he isn't signing a new deal without guarantees, so stupid question

So, you are telling me if he went to Man City for example he would have to start from scratch?

Did Pardew get guarantees?

If he signs a new deal then I take it he'll have all the guarantees he's asked for so there'll be no more crying about funds then.

Why would a grown man go on a rivals website and pretend to be someone he hates?

Why are you pretending to be a Sunderland fan when it's so obvious you're a mag?

Yes. He'd have a to an entire squad to get playing his system, as opposed to having a squad that already knows the crack. Nit an overnight job.

So, by that reckoning with all the loan players going back and others returning plus however many he would like to sign, effectively he won’t be more or less starting from scratch. How many of the current squad do you honestly think he will keep if given carte Blanche to sign as many as he would like?
