Closing down four dormant companies. General housekeeping. Nothing to see here.
Looks like it is happening to be honest, filed documents to Companies House today with the Sheikhs as the registered directors for the new entity of 'Monochrome Acquisitions Limited' - Also using the registered address of Pinsent Masons - London Law Firm that Ashley uses.

He uses Freshfields not Pinsent.
Its where Chris Mort is a partner (former chairman under Ashley)

The formation of Monochrome does indicate an intention to buy something, and the name is a bit of a giveaway (although it will probably whoosh a great many Mags). Not too late for it all to fall apart at the eleventh hour, though. I'll give them six months before the clamour for them to buy Neymar, Messi, Ronaldo and Bale has them wanting to sell ;)

There you go.

ahhh,

was enough to stop me popping out to tesco for bottle of their finest range champagne!

You can break it out by the sound of it as it appears to be going through.

We'll brace ourselves for the incoming threads from newbies boasting about 'being taken over as a plaything by a billionaire who will return NUFC to Europe's top table'.

It'll be just like last time when Ashley took over....

;)

That's a good point, maybe hedge your bets and get a bottle from the Aldi at Cowgate?

In the meantime I'll just stew at the fact that I've never forgiven NCC for bulldozing 'The Broken Doll' for that bloody pretentiousnessly named "boulevard".
