Saved them how? By doubling the debt and getting them relegated twice at significant cost? By reducing commercial income over a period when EVERY other top tier club increased theirs?
The debt is owed to Ashley (interest free) he gets it back when he sells.

Anyone used the ‘why are you on a Sunderland messageboard’ yet? It’s usually the cause when all of the cards have been play...Oh.

 RIGHT. So he's doubled the debt and expects the next owner to pay for it. Brilliant. But his asking price is reasonable, yeah?

Debt does need to get repaid. It is usually the case, did you not know this?

Who the debt is due to is irrelevant. The net debt of the club has doubled under Ashley’s ‘well-run’ stewardship.

Before Ashley arrived we’d been relegated less times than Manchester United. Obviously doesn’t mean we’re at their level, mind...

Alan shearer.
Rafa benitez.

The 2 managers that relegated you.
Not your owner.

That's what happens in football, teams get relegated. Well run clubs are in a position to bounce back immediately, badly run clubs.... I'm wasting my time here aren't I?

Of course he is other than the top 6-7 teams your'e on par with every one else for spending.

Why can’t we be on par with the whole league average? Why distort the figures by removing the top 6-7.

Can we be on par with 2 of the newly promoted teams (Wolves and Fulham) if you’re picking and choosing? After all this is our second season in the division.

He could always take 12 years of interest payments if he liked.

Or he could not be utterly incompetent in his administration?

He’s so hopeless he can’t sell something after having it on the market for over a decade.

You persist with this rubbish. It's called joining the dots, getting pedantic by asking for exact figures involved in private negotiations to try and disprove an argument is beyond boring. What do you think the situation is? That all these interested parties are showing up wanting the club for half price? Do you think they're worth more than the confirmed Stavely bids? Factor in the price that other clubs have sold for when answering, as well as what you believe the value of their playing squad was at the time of said bids.
Are you now owning up to being a mag? Go on, I understand you’re ashamed but it’s the first step

Really.

Dalewded mags in worlds top 20 clubs for turnover, expecting Ashley to spend an
average amount.

He's probably a better businessman than you...
