Those aren't two sides of the same coin. Not sure why you'd imply they were... unless you're just trying to display your love for Sunderland by how much you dislike Newcastle? Which is a little childish, now isn't it?

You have to ask yourself, if you're on the same side of the argument as Richard Keys, have you maybe lost your way?

Carr was chiefly responsible for finding players that meet criteria. Benitez has to bargain hunt because he's given little of the cash he was promised. Both of these statements are true and not mutually exclusive.

How much did Carr spend compared to Rafa?
How was it different for Carr? (Meeting a criteria as apposed to bargain hunting)

I'm implying that if Benitez hadn't wanted total control that you may have had some more good signings found by Carr.

But he did want full control and you dont.

Did Carr not also have to bargain hunt as he was still under Ashley?

He just done it better than a world class manager could.

But Rafa's world class and has contacts throughout the game and players thrive under Rafa and, and did I mention he's world class and.........

Despite being in the Premier League, their biggest selling away game was the f***ing checkatrade trophy against us - with all the tickets being sold to their loyal SC support :lol:
