Think we have Henderson, Dier, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wilshire, Winks and Loftus-Cheek ahead of him in the pecking order.

Shelvey is one of the best passers of the ball we have but off the ball he is a liability. I don't think we can afford to hve him in the side to be honest.

IMO I would say no, he is very poor defensively if he was to be playing in a holding midfield role alongside Henderson/Dier. Not consistent enough. Liability at times both with his temperament and work rate. Don't think he would fit into any system unless it involved dropping Kane for Vardy, which isn't going to happen

No he shouldn't but he has proved me wrong this season and has been very good. I always thought he had good vision but expected him to be positionally poor and defensively weak and he hasn't been.

Re. Shelvey's temperament; hasn't been booked since December. Has less bookings than Harry Kane this season.

No. He'd be tempted to ping his long passes too often which would cost us in possession. We've looked good playing short passes and looking to build gradually, stick to that for me.
