Which Premier League clubs? Burnley have spent less than them.
Ok. Cool. Where do they rank in expenditure this season for the 17-18 season?

Fuck off.
Would you swap Coleman for Benitez?
152 message thread about Newcastle United’s mansger on a Sunderland Message Board.
It is time Sunderland stop trying to define themselves in relation to their neighbours.

Well it is relevant. It's all relevant to how many assets you're losing and net spend is a lot more important than gross spend when judging a clubs transfer dealings.
No one could expect a business to sell vital machinery and not replace it, as the business would be unable to function. However, if you can replace said machinery at a cheaper price, and then perform even better with reduced cost, it's a successful model.
Done a cracking jobSeems to have done a decent job with minimal investment this year TBH
What about the all important net?3rd lowest above Burnley and Bournemouth

It' not relevant to judging a manager as these days, the CEO's deal with the financial side.
He still brought £80m worth of players to the club and yet those who won't have a bad word said about him are saying he's performed a miracle keeping a side of average players up.
What he inherited and what he's spent they're about where they should be.Done a cracking job
Don’t mind him tbh - he was good to stay at Newcastle when they went down - I’m sure he could have had alternatives

Football transfers don't work like that though. You could sell a player for a huge sum and get a cheaper replacement who turns out to be better. It still baffles me how you lot dont understand 'Net profit'. If i had a car that I then sold for 20k and I bought a new car for 5k I have a shitter car. Yes I may also have 15k but what good is that if I never use it? Rafa has done well with the squad he has.
Also he isnt above criticism and I have previously.
You can't say the CEOs deal with the financial side and then use how much he (isn't it the CEOs?) have spent as a bass for his performance. It's massively contradictory.
Stop pulling me back in ffs.
