Far too sensible a post for a mag.

I think the problem for many mags is that you’ve made such a big deal of wanting to hate Ashley and drive him out, that it’s almost impossible to now see reason and back down. All your comments make perfect sense, but the masses now simply refuse to accept this and very few want to be seen to the first to back down.
I agree.

Cutting that is, cutting

The amount of cheesy, inbred, cock sucking mackems commenting on #nufc matters is the saddest thing I've seen all day. f***ing worthless *****, stick to league 1 matters and Netflix series. You daft *****. Thank you for this Mike Ashley you f***ing PARASITE

Nearly a full house. Only needed Adam Johnson in there.
Then back to the wailing about Mike Ashley. Bless.

The thing about the 5-1 win against Spurs, it's not the win itself that he's on about really is it?
He mentions that game and the date, but a lot of you are ignoring the second half of the sentence.

The 5-1 game against Tottenham on 15/05/16, was "so emotional that since that day I have always felt that I have belonged at Newcastle and I thank you for making me feel so welcome and at home".

He's not boasting about the result but mentioning the game where the crowd sang his name relentlessly and, according to him, convinced him to stay.

Wow, the level of submissiveness runs deep on this place. Whether it be in your sporting hobby where you sit sidly by while their team sinks to the third tier to career-wise in your place of work where clearly some of you are quite willing to put up with every single piece of shite your superiors throw at you and just ‘getting on with it’

‘What’s the point? Nowts going to change’

No wonder your city is an absolute shithole if that is the mentality.

‘It he wanted to stay, he’d have stayed’. The words of a man who is an absolute slave to another, despite the conditions of his work.

It seems some lemmings have no tipping point.

‘Yes, gaffer’

Haha proper Simmer Meltdoooon

You sure you're a mag?
100% sure... but I'm a mag with my own mind and do not follow anything that I don't agree with, with anyone.
A lot of fans follow a majority because they feel safe and part of something.
Many fans will simply follow a narrative face to face or on forums, even if they feel they don't agree with the overall steering of that narrative.
If given their own space and ability to choose their own path you would likely see a different outlook to their ways, which is why the stadium is regularly full, even amid all the Ashley hatred and " if Rafa goes, we go" stance.

I choose my own thoughts.
If I say one thing in favour of Ashley then absolutely anything else that comes out of my mouth or out of my typing to most Newcastle fans, will be cast off as nothing more than me just being some kind of martyr and anything and everything will be twisted to fit their narrative.
I can praise anything to do with Newcastle and I can moan like hell when I see badness, just like we all can with our clubs, whichever clubs people are fans of.
I just simply don't see the praise and badness in this same carry on as many fans do with this Ashley hatred and Rafa love in....I really don't.
Ashley's no angel but he's by far nothing like the monster he's portrayed as.

Too many people live on the past as if the past covers everything that their future should be, as long as it's the past that was all good.
I reminisce about those good times just as I do with the bad times and this is why I can see that we are not in the dark and dingy place that a fair few Newcastle fans see us in under this regime.
