I'm a Newcastle fan but I don't hate Ashley.
I just hope that it's not a case of cutting off noses to spite faces in getting rid of an owner who still has us in the premier league after 12 years and also gave us 3 exciting seasons of two championship titles plus a top 5 finish.
Plus a Europa place, which could've been a champions league place but for a bit more luck.

If people think A sheikh is going to bankroll this club into the dizzy heights of the trophy sharing among the top one's then soon enough, if the club gets taken over, they may just wish their hate for Ashley wasn't so severe. Although there will be many who will rather the club go out of existence rather than see him in charge.

I find it all weird.

As the saying goes. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.
I'm one fan who is happy to see the back of Rafa Benitez.
I think he's overrated and his football is far too often, boring to watch.

10th first season back in the premier league.
Add better quality to the whole squad and finish 13th.
For this he is a messiah. Not in my book he's not.

Many managers would have gone well before now with his record and it would've been vociferous.

what i would be worried about is who wants the headache of buying you. I mean there are death threats, 6 blokes protesting outside a house 300miles away which might not even be owned by him.

You sure you're a mag?

Barcelona. Went in an Irish bar to watch the derby. Two mag blokes came in giving it the gob and being generally abusive towards us (which I thought was OTT considering I'm a single woman with three bairns!) Anyway, they kept giving us grief all match. Then Johnson popped up right at the end and scored the winner. We were dancing around like loons. They slid down their seats and tried to hide before slinking out the door. They didn't appreciate me smiling sweetly and blowing kisses at them either. I enjoyed that mind.

Far too sensible a post for a mag.

I think the problem for many mags is that you’ve made such a big deal of wanting to hate Ashley and drive him out, that it’s almost impossible to now see reason and back down. All your comments make perfect sense, but the masses now simply refuse to accept this and very few want to be seen to the first to back down.
