Oh aye, the one I was looking at was slanting it differently. Just seen the above.

Mind, if that includes the on loan spell, that is over 8 and a half years. So about 17 games, 11 starts and 4 goals per year!

As we have said a million times, the bloke was and still is a very good manager, before him we had Mcclaren , Carver, Pardew who was a busted flush come the end so Rafa coming gave us a bit of hope of quality for the future, he’s a 100% football man, in his job he gives it everything and knows his stuff.He got involved with the area, the fans, the people and he got our respect after a comical period, he gave us our respect back.
The football aside, it wasn’t great, Rafa was a pure football manager and just a likeable bloke , that’s why he endeared himself to us.I just liked the bloke and so did we all irrespective of achieving little in truth he gave us a bit of pride in the shirt back.

Did you partake in the celebrations when Pardew brought you those top finishes? The French day?
How did Rafa get involved in the area with the fans? Please tell us. I genuinely wish to know because I can't remember seeing or reading anything about this. I know he 'got' you, that's all that was ever said.

He came round my house for a bbq, had to keep it quiet though mate.Read my bit about Pardew, I said at the end.

You can just imagine it "Andy's took a little bit of a knock, putting his socks on. He's on his way to hospital to be looked at and we're hoping he wont be out for long. But wa dust wasels doon."
