If you really want to sell something market forces come into play. Doesnt matter whether football club. House. Car. Pint beer. That Ashley has not found a buyer confirms he is asking more than anyone wants to pay.

Only in your mind, you have absolutely no proof of that.

You're saying that because you want to believe there are loads of potential buyers.

That's fair enough but you're just guessing.

Under Rafa you knew there would be a gameplan to look to win a game.

We might have lost 11 out of 12 games against the top six last season but there were a few that were marginal defeats by the odd goal here and there (Man U and Spurs away immediately spring to mind)

We'll more than likely get f***ing pezzled by every one of them this season. We faced one of the weakest Arsenal sides I've seen in years on Sunday and we didn't even lay a glove on them.

'What's £10m here or there to a billionnaire?'

You think that would tell most of semi-cognitive mind how Ashley operates and why he hasn't managed to self-rid himself of this 'pantomime villain' tag he Eeyores on about.

It was a narrow defeat and only by an error, I dont think we were utter shite but that second half could be a sign of things to come. The way we defended in the second half went to pot,it never went to pot under Rafa.

Arsenal didn't even have to get out of second gear, man. And this is a side that only kept one clean sheet away from home all season, they've already equalled that in their very first game.

As football fans we can only guess in truth,

Did you think we'd get anything pre game? I didn't.

Guessing at what? He has not sold club despite his many public announcements to that effect. If he hasnt found a buyer that can only because no price can be agreed. Which means the vendor will only sell at a certain price. Which is not a price anybody is willing to pay. Its only conclusion that can be drawn so not guesswork. If you can draw any other conclusion would be interested to hear them.

Which current clubs don't develop their training facilities?
Which current clubs haven't had a steady conveyor of talented youth players coming through in the last five years that are still plying their trade in the top division?
Which current clubs have appointed a bog-standard Championship Manager?
Which clubs ignore the needs of the squad to buy players purely for sell-on value?
Which clubs don't sign anyone that is 29 or older?
Which clubs don't appoint managers that are forward thinking and want to take the club forward and are ambitious to improve?

You suggest 'very few' so I'll be kind and say can you name 12 Premier League clubs that don't do any of the above. Surely 60% isn't unreasonable to ask.

It's pretty much only Newcastle United who tick every one of those boxes, isn't it?
Jesus man, so what as a supporter do you want?

Outright lie.

Apologies, that should have said compete with a structure and with a visible game plan

Something that I can't see happening with this fuckwit in charge. He gutted the midfield in his first game just because we were a goal behind.

No you have just bitched on with anything you could think of?

So you want all players to be Over 29 will minimal sell on value?

Who as manager then?

Did Rafa give youth a chance?

Where have I said all players have to be over 29?

If you're going to run it through some ridiculous filter and interpret my suggestion that we abolish our strategy of ignoring every target over 29 as me saying every purchased player has to be over 29 there's no point in discussing it with you tbf.

I've noticed you haven't even offered up a single team to any of the questions I posed, nevermind supplying a whole raft of names if your suggestion of 'very few' is correct.

How much do you think the club is worth and how much should he sell for?

Maximise resources. Little bit of speculation. Newcastle under Ashley are not doing that any level based on results under his tenure if not in Championship. Unless you tell me its because the club make no headway in Premier due to all other clubs spending beyond their means.

Fair do but you have an issue with everything that goes on, policies which are in place throughout Europe but cos you are not spending above your means he is lacking ambition?
