Look at the facts.

Newcastle get 52,000 every home game without winning a trophy for years. It's a massive club. Bigger attendances than Juventus, AC Milan etc and not even a quarter of their success. It's a massive club.

2016-17 season.
Juventus averaged - 39k
Sunderland averaged - 41k

Gerrin we're bigger than Juve,

If this was 1994, Blackburn would have been one of the biggest five clubs in the country.

I remember tabloids screaming "They can easily outbid United for any player.".

Even factoring in stadium in 4 years time providing planning permission is sealed (almost a certainty at this stage) we'll have the bigger stadium. I hate all the big club talk mind.

People underestimate just what the new stadium will do for the club though. Google "Liverpool Waters project" and people will see why our fans are excited by the stadium project. Alongside Spurs should the club get the designs right (never a given with Everton) we'll imo have one of the best and iconic grounds in the country in terms of location and potential.
