I thought you were only 20, also if you class Everton as winning the premier instead of the first division, I'm having Safc for six premier league wins, more than spursEverton have won the prem in my life. Newcastle havent. That says it all really.

Agree mate, but given how many threads there are on it I would say there's a canny few on here, the media and all mags.I know it's been done to death on here but it really annoys me all this my clubs bigger than your club shit.
Seriously does anyone really give a fuck apart from the media
No sympathy, any glimpse of an open goal and I'm in shit hotIm 30 and I didnt mean the league. Ive got a banging headache haha meant cup.

My first and only horse bet wasnt so good...lad i work with told me a horse couldn't lose...i had a couple quid saved up to go to rome to watch england..(1997)...i was on 82 quid a week i put 200 quid on it...was gonna have best trip ever when this horse pissed in...it finished 5th....i learned 2 valuable lessons....how to go abroad watching football skint...and never bet on a horse again
tragicomic, parochial drivel.Newcastle are a much bigger club than Everton. 52,000 week in week out at St James's Park. Newcastle could fill 70,000.
With reference to your last two sentences, Sunderland , Villa and the mags were all as equally or more successful as Everyon in 1960. Your success carried on for 3 more decades with 4 more titles and a couple of cups, while we had one cup win, Villa a title and a EC while the mags haven't bothered to add to theirs. We are a weird club in that alot of fans forget about our past achievements compared to others heck even recent relevant success - our average finish is 7th in the last decade and the last 2 seasons we've been the 3rd or 4th biggest spenders in the league and moving to a new ground - yet if West Ham or Southampton finish 7th once after numerous relegation fights they are suddenly something massive. It was the same watching Stoke a couple of weeks back where the commentator said something like 'Stoke are the only club outside the top 6 to have PL status consistenly in the last decade' casually forgetting us.
Sadly as @joss alluded to we have done little to promote ourselves since the cash cow of 1992 began and have allowed ourselves to fall into the shadows somewhat whilst other clubs have their ex players/media department keep them in the spotlight.
Im confident for our future though, our CEO is due to leave at the end of the season who has been piss poor in his attempts at increasing revenues and hopefully will be replaced by someone with expertise.
Walsh most likely wont stay DOF and Marcel Brands has been sounded out, and Alladyce will likely be replaced by Fonesca who has been very impressive at Shakhtar the last 2 seasons (can hopefully bring a few of his brazilian stars with him). With the new stadium on the near horizon as part of a massive regeneration project in the city centre I do think things will start to move forward and we can finally look to get back to what I believe is our rightful place (in a non self entitled way). Been way too long accepting mediocrity since 1992 - easily forgot we were the 2nd most successful club in England in 1990.
No he's not.So many fans obsessed with the size of their club. My dad is bigger than your dad mentality.
So what in your opinion makes the size of a club?I meant the size of the clubs which is what this topic is about, not their on field performance.
Everton have had canny sides for the best part of 150 years with lots of trophies to show for it, plus the longest time spent in the top flight of English football. Newcastle attract big crowds but have a lot less trophies. It isn't even a close contest. WTF has a bigger Stadium got to do with anything. West Ham get bigger crowds than Everton and Liverpool but are they bigger? Get your tongue out of Mag ass Clocky. Anybody would think you were a MagBoth middle of the road PL clubs who aren't really going anywhere. Mags have the fanbase and stadium, Everton have more trophies. Everton could have been a big club but they seemed to get left behind in the 1990s when Sky got involved and football suddenly became very popular.
They had a canny side in the 80s mind but that was 30 odd years ago.
He'll tell you he's a Sunderland fan but he thinks Newcastle are Mahoosive ...So what in your opinion makes the size of a club?
Who is shagging off South Tyneside? Judging a club by who it shares a river with or not is just f***ing ridiculousI would be careful about slagging off South Tyneside. It's where about 30% of your fans live.
This whole conversation about which club is 'bigger' is a childish wall-pissing competition.
As Boris would put it, an inverted pyramid of piffle. ..
Yes, otherwise what are we even doing here?Huddersfield bigger than Tottenham
Also Newcastle, Sunderland,Sheffield Wednesday, Blackburn and Wolves bigger than Tottenham.
