Just come across this gem
Relegated twice in ten years suggests otherwise. Both middle of the road PL clubs who aren't really going anywhere. Mags have the fanbase and stadium, Everton have more trophies. Everton could have been a big club but they seemed to get left behind in the 1990s when Sky got involved and football suddenly became very popular.
They had a canny side in the 80s mind but that was 30 odd years ago.
Didn't you know everything on Tyneside belongs to Newcastle?A river??

The Mags base their size on attendances. They forget that Everton would attract more fans in a bigger stadium.
Agree but they're still well behind Everton historically. They're still a far bigger club than the likes of Watford, Burnley, Bournemouth etc but those 3 teams have better players. My middle of the road comment was about the size of the club not the quality of its players.
A record 114 seasons in top flight, nine top flight titles, five FA Cup and Cup winners Cup versus erm..The Mags base their size on attendances. They forget that Everton would attract more fans in a bigger stadium.
On % of capacity filled the mags ground is fuller than Goodison though so the same could apply to them if theirs was bigger.
So? That could be based on away fans not selling out/areas that are closed for whatever reason. There are sets at Goodison with restricted views.
Agree but they're still well behind Everton historically.
Does this apply to SAFC as well?
Depends what he was doing when he was watching it.Came across not come
GerrinSo Newcastle are bigger because they don't share a river and they've been relegated twice in the last 10 years but the only difference is that Everton have won the league more.
By that analogy Sunderland are bigger than Newcastle....confirmed.
Mustn't have had any socksDepends what he was doing when he was watching it.![]()
Even the fog.

You don't want someone coming along with a logical or reasoned response do you? That wouldn't make it very interesting for their 'report'When they make these videos do they edit the normal people out. When ever a Newcastle fan or Sunderland fan gets interviewed outside the grounds they come across really poorly. You would think the reporter watches 50 people walk buy then says look at this nugget coming we'll get this one.
I always think big club and successful club are two completely different things. Had we have won the title back in the days of KK I don't personally think that would have made us bigger, I think it would have made us more successful. Newcastle, Sunderland, Everton are all huge clubs that are unsuccessful in my opinion.

I would doubt there is a higher proportion up here, can't see there being anything in our genetic make up that makes us inherently stupid. You don't want someone coming along with a logical or reasoned response do you? That wouldn't make it very interesting for their 'report'
You are right they always seem to find the dickhead up here, maybe there are a larger proportion of them??
