Showed it to the bairn. He likes it, so that'll be getting bought.

I'm undecided on the front, but the back just looks shit.

What I don't understand is why did Adidas not put their 3 stripes on the shoulders in black? Would link from the black collar and sleeve trim, and look better IMO.

It looks like they've tried very hard to make it not look like an adidas strip. Can't blame them for not wanting to be associated with our mess of a club at the moment.

About time we switched it up a bit, apart from the back looking shit I like it.

Possibly because they didn't want black and white stripes on the shirt?

If you're buying it for the bairn maybe the back won't look so bad if/when you get his name and number on the back. That's what I'm hoping for when I get my 2 grandsons one

It's the same fabric as a normal t shirt.
Dress trousers and jeans are a different material
Evening Steve

The front, from a distance, will look pink, thats not sunderland.
The back looks like a team in all red shirt, thats not sunderland either.

This is definitely our real new top?
Definitely not a wind up?

So no t shirts are the same fabric? I suppose there's just a lot of snobby people about

Footy tops are normally made from polyester and t shirts cotton are they not? I don't think I've ever had a t shirt that has been the same fabric. Just do a hot iron test. That should be enough to differentiate

Disclaimer: Don't put a hot iron on a footy shirt
