New Shirt

Is there any evidence that patterns on shirts make it harder to see your own player?

Because our lot act as though they wear camouflage. Maybe the red panel will see us become clinical passers.

Doesn't look like it on the press shots we have been putting out on our new kit. We have red numbers with no patch.

I might be mistaken then. I thought of read they were switching this year. Any possibility that those are for sale to fans but the players will have a back panel?

Typical of SAFC if we've opted for one without needing to, mind. Pissing the fans off further for no apparent reason.

Mark Douglas was saying this morning that the patch isn't in the rules. WBA and Stoke have a patch but the mags don't. It's strange because I'm sure there was a bit of a big deal made about it a month or so ago

I like it. It's different.

End of thread.

A block of red is infinitesimally better than a blob of black.

Which is exactly what we have for the badge

I knew I hadn't made it up!! I wonder if stoke and wba (and SAFC) just want shirts that look crap without a name and number so people will pay extra to have them.

The red back is championship rules, ffs. Have a look at strips history, the pin stripe one in the 80s is a classic now. Maybe your husband may buy you one

None of this is makes any sense, or has any relevance whatsoever to my post but don't let that stop you. Crack on

Just double checked and it was James Hunter who posted it. Basically said it isn't a rule in prem or championship but more clubs are adopting it. I'm positive I read something about it being prem rules a month or so ago as well but trying to google it and coming up with nothing so fuck knows where I read it
