I'm undecided on the front, but the back just looks shit.

What I don't understand is why did Adidas not put their 3 stripes on the shoulders in black? Would link from the black collar and sleeve trim, and look better IMO.

It looks like they've tried very hard to make it not look like an adidas strip. Can't blame them for not wanting to be associated with our mess of a club at the moment.

No it isn't. It's a replica football shirt. A pair of jeans isn't the same as a pair of dress trousers just because they go over the same part of your body.

Dress trousers and jeans are a different material

If you're buying it for the bairn maybe the back won't look so bad if/when you get his name and number on the back. That's what I'm hoping for when I get my 2 grandsons one

Haven't seen a t shirt that's the same material as current footy tops. Nothing snobby about it

Footy tops are normally made from polyester and t shirts cotton are they not? I don't think I've ever had a t shirt that has been the same fabric. Just do a hot iron test. That should be enough to differentiate
