New Music Releases Thread

Obviously, three of the new releases are listed above but I'll repeat them anyway. There are new albums this week from Amanda Shires, Cate le Bon, Coach Party, Doja Cat, Fred Armisen, Geese, Glaive, Jeff Tweedy (30 tracks so a triple album of Tweedy), John Maus, Joy Crookes, Mariah Carey, Mulatu Astatke, Neko Case, Olivia Dean, Patrick Watson, Perrie, Purity Ring, Robert Plant, Sloan, Sprints, The Starting Line, Tom Skinner, Young Thug, Zara Larsson, Kathryn Williams, Sam Prekop, Donny McCaslin, Immersion, Hannah Frances, Alex E.T., EERA, Emma Pollock, Sir Richard Bishop, Your Heterosexual Violence, Lady Wray and The Cords.

Mariah aside, who are people looking forward to?
Always tough to compete with Mariah but Emma Pollock is sure to be a good one. She posted how pleased she was about it getting 9/10 in Uncut magazine.
Joy Crookes got brought forward to last Friday. I've heard it but preferred her debut. Still has some decent moments.

It’s a big week. My favourite Aussie rockers The Living End are releasing their first album in 7 years tomorrow as well.

Them, Shires, Case and Tweedy first off for me I think.

New music Thursday! I enjoy when I receive a record in the post, a day earlier than I should have 😇 Cate Le Bon's Michelangelo Dying.

The digi download even comes with a nice note:

Looking forward to this, really enjoyed what I've heard so far.

The new Your Heterosexual Violence album is a gem. Veteran post-punkers reformed after 40 years or so. Cracking songs.

There are new releases on Friday from AFI, Idlewild, Long Fling, Rachael Yamagata, Richard Ashcroft, Shlohmo, Snooper, Sparks (an EP), Taylor Swift, The Deep Dark Woods, Thrice, Upchuck, Blue Lake, Ash, The Bongolian, Sven Wunder and The Sexual Objects.

Pynch's second album also out today. Not a well known band but they're cracking.
