That Chanel Beads record that came out a few weeks ago is very good. It sort of veers into that Alex G sphere of chilled dreamy pop. Quite hard to pin it down.
Really enjoyed the Amen Dunes new one on first listen as well.

There are new albums this weke from Ani di Franco, Arkells, Beth Gibbons, Billie Eilish, Bright Light Bright Light, Cage the Elephant, Crumb, GIRLI, Guster, Kate Hudson, New Kids on the Block, Of Montreal, Rapsody, Shellac, Slash, The Avett Brothers, ZAYN, Lip Critic, Kaia Kater, Josienne Clarke, Barry Adamson, The Lovely Eggs, Blitzen Trapper and Michael Head & the Red Elastic Band.
Some gud'ns there( hopefully). Beth Gibbons,lovely eggs,and micky head top of the list for me.
Those three, Kaia Kater and Barry Adamson are the five I'd pick if I was limited to just five.

Has anyone listened to that Cindy Lee record? Plenty of glowing reviews, but it isn’t available on most streaming platforms and as a double album is over 2 hours long.
Just seen Pitchfork's review (9.1/10). Will seek it out, maybe once I get home.
Cindy Lee is Patrick Flegel, who was lead singer of Women.

Yes seems to be the only platform it’s available on.
Man starts to work his way through the last week. Man says Orville Peck is ho hum, beyond the Willie Nelson song. Man also says that Big Special are magnificent and their album is up there for album of the year so far. That's Man though, although I rarely disagree with him.

The Hovvdy new one is decent as well but it's a good 20 mins too long though, just doesn't need to be that length and would benefit from a trim.
I've tried a few times but the new Lemon Twigs isn't working for me. It's too 60s, if that's even possible for them. Not a patch on Everything Harmony.
The Big Special record is crap. They're a pound shop Yard Act. Flat.
It's not particularly new, think it came out in March time, but that Vegyn record is very good. I've been addicted to that for weeks now. Not seen it mentioned on here.
