I wouldn't know, I tried to order it from hmv click and collect so I would have it today. One wasted trip to Boro later and I still don't have it and I want to listen to it on vinyl before Spotify. Lesson learnt, next time Amazon or eBay.The Lol Tolhurst / budgie / Jacknife Lee record is astonishingly good on first listen.

Amazon are getting worse. I pre-ordered Devendra Banhart album in July. It was released in September. I still don't have it and expected delivery date has been shoved back. Currently it is 24th November. I'd cancel it but I used a £5 promo code. They don't seem to get the stock they once did which is inexcusable for a pre-order.I wouldn't know, I tried to order it from hmv click and collect so I would have it today. Well I've managed to get it from Amazon for 10 quid cheaper than HMV and it comes tomorrow, so I'll just cancel the order from hmv.Amazon are getting worse. Yeah I'll try and resist temptation to listen on Spotify till I manage to finally get it on vinyl.I took the Spotify route as I’m a bit dubious of so many as guest appearances, but this works really well. Sure you’ll really enjoy it
It's great. First time I've heard them. Cheers!bar italia is very good, album name and artwork is shite though
I’ve eaten in their restaurants a few times. It's great. First time I've heard them. Cheers!
Searching for their social media accounts returned quite a few restaurants across the globe.I’ve eaten in their restaurants a few times.
There is (or maybe was it’s been a while) one on Lothian Road in Edinburgh. I went there for lunch after my ICAS graduation.Searching for their social media accounts returned quite a few restaurants across the globe.
The Lol Tolhurst/Budgie/JKL album is astonishing @mad cyril . I finally got to listen to it, album of the year for me. Although I'd love to know how much input Tolhurst had because he was fkin useless in The Cure.
Yeah he was in The Cure but when he moved to keyboards he contributed the square root of fuck all, which makes this record even more remarkable. Although I think most of it will be down to JKLGlad you agree. Even on first listen I was still half expecting a duff track to appear but it never did. Superb from start to finish and yeah, I can’t think of a better record this year.
I actually had no idea Lol Tolhurst was in the Cure![]()
