They're playing local in September and I was contemplating...got most of their albums but never seen them live (don't even think I've seen them on telly)

Alright, you gonks, here is my regular review of the new and newish stuff I've listened to this week:
Duster: slowcoreish indie rock, a bit artsy and pretty good.
Walt Disco: much beloved of someone at Rough Trade shops. This is sparky (and occasionally Sparksy) electropop. Enjoyable.
Rheinzand: continental electro-disco pop fun with occasional motorik overtones. This is great, like The Liminanas jamming with LCD Soundsystem.
Hannah Peel & Paraorchestra: neo-classical electronica, very good TBH.
Michael Weston King: an old school countyr troubador, this is the gentle sound of Americana.
Noon Garden: psychedelic pop, reminds me a little of Spellling in spirit, if not musically.
Confidence Man: clever danceable pop. I don't like at much as their debut but there have only been a few albums I've liked as much as their debut.
Pastor Champion: religious blues basically. A good album TBH.
Alabaster Deplume: jazz, spoken word vocals, art house. Very good but maybe a track or two over long.
Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway: Molly Tuttle's first full on venture into bluegrass. It's a rollicking ride and a lot of fun.
Christian Lee Hutson: singer-songwriter, sort of folkish and also a little bit pop. Reminds me of Elliott Smith. Interesting.
M Ross Perkins: I'm liking this a lot. Psychedelic pop. His third album, seemingly.
Warmduscher: sleazy, danceable pop. I always like the semi-spoken American vocals on their songs.
Pillow Queens: a good solid indie-rock album. Not sure it's quite as strong as their debut.
Paul Cauthen: country merged with glamrock, kind of. Nothing as strong as his magnificent 'Cocaine Country Dancing' but it's a fun album.
Sondre Lerche: 80+ minutes long but it doesn't seem it. A very lovely album. A bit Sufjanish in parts.
Pup: situationist punk. Reminds me a little of Titus Andronicus,
Desaparecidos: a very intense live set from Conor and his gang.
Album of the week: Rheinzand gets it this time round. M Ross Perkins and Sondre Lerche on the podium.

It's a big week for new releases. There are albums due from Calexico, Daniel Rossen, Envy of None, Father John Misty, HEALTH, Jack White, Kae Tempest, Let's Eat Grandma, Lucius, Omar Apollo, Orville Peck, Syd, Wet Leg, Whatever The Weather, The Regrettes, Sirom, Archive and Bdrmm (an EP from them).
Also, Pavement's extended re-release of Terror Twilight, Farewell Horizontal, is out.

They were supporting someone I was going to go and see and I listened to Chaise Longue and loved it. Never got to gig. Followed their progress and they seem to be developing really well.
