I do wonder if there was some purposeful coincidence on the release date between the two given the drama. Wouldn’t surprise me tbh.
 

I’m digging the vibe on the JD King album. Imagine the sound of The Strokes on “Is This It?” (but not necessarily the songs), but recorded in the 60s and you’re pretty close to what the record sounds like.

Morning Arkle, you may recall that I released a self produced album last year and mentioned it on here. If you don’t mind I would like to add my new four song EP to the list of releases.

Where the last one was a quite pensive, chilled affair, this one is more aggressive and upbeat... and meant to be played loud.

I like the way that you have named the first track after a Courteneers album
 
I really like the 'Love Fame Tragedy' album which is a side project of Matthew Murphy of the Wombats. They/he released 'My Cheating Heart' as a single last year and the album has just come out and it's just as good
 
Listened once to T Swift. Will probably go again. Thought it was okay. Didn’t blow me away. As has been said, it’s a bit Lana Del Rey, definitely can hear the national influence. It’s no Punisher, mind.
