That was the reason Death Grips gave when they randomly dropped their entire touring schedule to work on No Love Deep Web wasn't it? I fully appreciate it's up to the band to decide but I hope this isn't something that becomes commonplace.

And everybody loves Grimes right?
 

New Mudhoney album is good - pretty much what you'd expect from them - witty alt rock.

And, on first listen, Merchandise's "Totale Nite" is rather good.

Some cracking stuff on here so far, been listening to spotify all day...daft question but I get most of my music on iTunes, fancy instead buying some actual CD's, any recommendations shop wise where I can buy them?

eBay can be class for CD's, otherwise just use Google shopping and see where's cheapest.

Bear in mind that I'm old, the last two albums I bought were, Telefon Tel Aviv - The Birds and Sasha - Involver 3

I've subscribed to this thread in the hope that you youngsters can inspire me into liking new music but Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Foxygen the last two bands I listened to from here were just dull as dishwater, it's like nu-boyband music, instead of typical boyband ballads it's just dull jingly-jangly nothingness.

I'm a little behind the times as seem to only realise albums are out several months after release!

Been listening to:

Band of Horses - Mirage Rock
The Strokes - Comedown Machine
The Pines - Dark so Gold
The Virgin marys - King of Conflict

Really like all those albums with Pines & Band of Horses being pretty damn awesome IMO
