I'm quite enjoying the new album by The Reds, Pinks and Purples.

I enjoyed the last one, but this feels a bit more of the same and that’s itI'm quite enjoying the new album by The Reds, Pinks and Purples.
bit of a blast from the pastI missed Eddie Chacon from my list. He's got a cracking review from The Guardian:

didnt realise, read the article, may have to investigateYeah, he released an album in 2020 which got good reviews as well.
Listening to it now.Its rather good, not what I was expectingdidnt realise, read the article, may have to investigate
Yeah, thinking about getting oneEnjoyed the Altin Gun record on first listen. A miserable cycle through the rain into work didn't feel like the best setting for it mind!
@chunkyshitehawk53 have you seen this RALLY festival in Southwark Park in August? Looks canny. 20 quid presale tickets are out now if you fancy it. Sadly I'm away for that as well.

Looking forward to this, pretty sure the album's out middle of next month at some point. Think that song you posted is the best of the two they've released so far but I did like both.
Sorry lads and lasses, this was meant for the best guitar intros threadThe cure-boys don't cry, simple but beautiful
The smiths-heaven knows I'm miserable now, bigmouth, this charming man, that joke isn't funny anymore, what difference does it make.In fact, nearly every f***ing smiths song. What a genius Marr is for grabbing your attention straight away with his beautiful strumming/picking.
Hasn’t grabbed me yet, though I have only listened in the car when doing some A to Bs. Will give it a proper listen over the weekend, but I didn’t really take to the EP. I prefer the constituent parts, separately.Boygenius is great, one of my favourites of the year so far.
At least the monarchy are showing they are modernising. I still don’t get the album mind, but fair play to themYou must be logged on to see media items
