im not 100% sure i know much about him, other than he was headlining stadiums in glasgow before an album had been released... is his schtick a scottish jakey with a guitar?

Critics are calling it the first classic album of the decade. But then again, they said that about Waxahatchee a fortnight ago.

I’d honestly never heard of him until he was mentioned on here, can’t say I’ve ever listened to any of his songs knowingly.

You can’t expect to throw a bottle at a Glaswegian and not have some kind of reaction though :)

Tbf, he wasn't exactly in the wrong there. Still a wee radge and that interview with him certainly showed some of his neuroses. Also, a mate of mine wrote his real name in a web article for a national radio station and Gerry's Mrs rang up the station to ask them to remove it immediately as he has 'history' :lol:
