Almost certainly would have been mate! I don't mind Play Dumb, like I say it's just more of the same, easy to just switch off and listen to.
Little Comets are the same, jangly pop tunes, canny to listen to now and again but that's enough or I get bored quickly. I've kind of worn myself out of them, saw them far too many times last year (4 times I think) and I really, really don't want to hear them again for a long time.

Must have seen them about 10 times now, either deliberately or at festivals/support slots.
The Chapman Family are/were my favourite band, honestly gutted they split up because I loved everything they did. Can't believe they didn't even have a big following the in the North East, an real shame. They played the Cluny 2 a few months before they split and the turn out was poor, same goes for the
free gig at Pop Recs in town, for a band that puts in everything to every gig and tours all over the country relentlessly I think it just wore them down in the end. There was a very good write up on DiS from Kingsley once they split, have a read

, quite a long read mind. I miss their Twitter too, it was one of the funniest on there.
