Watch this trailer last night, thought the bit where they are looking at the projector was shit scary.

This looks pretty good I have to say, and so what if it is a remake, just watch it as a film in its own right. People get far too radgy about remakes.

You should give it a try if you're a fan of the book. The Shining sequel does have the feel of a made for TV series but in many ways it beats the Kubrick version hands down.


I think that King hates it with good reason. He says it lacks warmth and I agree with him.

Don't know if this remake is a good idea or not - I enjoyed the original immensely.

The most underrated Stephen King film adaptation is probablys Dolores Claiborne. I loved that.

Actually I should have just said best film! I've never read the book so don't know if it's a good adaptation or not!
