So he was at;
scunthorpe relegated from leagu 1 to league 2
Notss county relegated from football league
Boston when they got 12 points deduction

is that right? 😂

I might chuck the lot in like, we’re stuck here for a long time, can’t be bothered to watch another season like this one, last season was a bit of a novelty

Was the same with him appointing his mates Hill and Fox to director positions and appointing Reid who had 5 mins running Eastleigh's youth setup to manage a Cat 1 academy. Absolute disaster artist. Hasnt got a f***ing clue.

He seemily doesn’t have many contacts in football, or the money to go get impressive candidates. I don’t think we have a championship or premier league level appointment in the entire club, yet that’s apparently what we’re aiming for.

We’re going to be in League One for a long time. The academy will lose its top tier status next year and that will be the end of that. He’s already flogged the next generation of talent so we can’t even rely on them like Southampton did.

From BBC Sport.

Sunderland appoint Jim Rodwell as their new chief executive after five years in a similar role at Scunthorpe.

He took them from a relatively newly relegated championship club into league two ffs.

Also if he can’t manage f***ing Scunthorpes expectations how is he going to manage at Sunderland.

The expectations placed on him by Sunderland might be slightly more realistic and achievable. Getting Sunderland to the championship for example is much more achievable than Scunthorpe.

Scunthorpe fans are over the moon he's left, which should tell you everything.

Be interesting to see if anything else materialises over the next few weeks.
