I can't either. There's very few events that would generate that sort of interest for it and given Wembley / Spurs already have the NFL when it's here I just can't see how even that is feasible.
Only so many outdoor concerts to go round too

their stadium will be built before they're fixedKLD shoulda asked them for a few quid to fix the blow dryers in the bogs...
Dunno like everyone seemed to laugh at west ham when they moved to the Olympic stadium and our 42k probably got laughed at considering the previous roker park capacities
They got much bigger crowds than us when they were in the old Third Division back in the seventies ... and football wasn't as popular then. If West Ham can get 60,000 - whose all time record crowd was 42,000 at Upton Park - then the sky is the limit for a success starved club in England's second city. They didn't fill St.Andrews in the prem![]()

Traditionally, Birmingham have always been capable of much bigger crowds.West Ham have a massive fanbase in comparison to Birmingham City though. The latter are around Boro's level fanbase wise, they'll never fill 60k.

When Newcastle averaged 37,000 and then 50,000.It'll look like St James's when the mags were in the championship.
That's about twice their record attendance, Talk about a vanity project. Even Villa would struggle to fill that, and they've always been way better supported.
Was not the same said about West Ham's move to the Olympic StadiumGeorge reynolds esq. 60k![]()
It is a no brainer. When Birmingham won promotion from the Second Division in 1972, they had 5 crowds above 40,000. Football is now ten times more popular. What were west hams average crowds before the new stadium? That was a canny leap. I am sure Birmingham could get close, it's a massive city
West ham are a far bigger club than birmingham and have the london attraction for tourists to help outWas not the same said about West Ham's move to the Olympic Stadium

Over a million people live in birmingham, and about 20% are of Asian origin.Still leaves a lot of peopleWith a large South Asian community indifferent to football at best, and a bigger draw in Villa. Villa would srtuggle to fill an 60k ground. Blues have no choice.
You’re being too obvious you sad mag twat.60k???![]()
. That’s not getting filled. That’s like some of our fans saying to extend the SoL when it doesn’t even get filled now!

Huge catchment area, Britain’s second city in terms of population and their only competitor is Villa.
We need to get our own affairs and vision sorted out as there seem to be plenty of others with ambitions.
It is. They have bought the land for it.There's no chance that stadium is being built like.
They might have bought the land but that whole stadium, complex etc being built by 2029 is very very optimistic. It's insane for a club that be a league one club quite easily next season.Haven't read whole thread but for those saying we won't fill it, the owners know that.
They want a stadium that size for concerts and other sporting events.
