it also means people who have stuff like cancer, copd, diabetes, asthma, etc, on their medical record and have lived with them for years on medication then catch covid and die in a fortnight arent counted by you. thats bollocks.
plus, someone who has a heart attack or stroke is much less likely to survive if they have untreatable covid on top of that. without covid many of them might have survived.

i'm sure for some who were "with covid" it made no difference.
lockdowns were shit. i have kids who's exams were cancelled. some people fared badly with mental health and diseases which werent treated. how would they be treated for cancer if hospitals were overflowing with covid patents who needed emergency treatment or they would die that day.
doing nothing would have been shitter.

300k hospital beds in 1987ish
For a population of around 52million.

140k Hospital beds in around 2020 for a population of 70 mill.

There’s your answer not that hospitals were overflowing with anything .

There just is not enough capacity full stop.

A bad flu season has the NHS on its knees.

If the capacity was there to give people who got Ill basic preventative treatment 99.5% plus would of been just fine.

But the capacity wasn’t there was it

Only 140k hospital beds compared to 300k 35 years ago

Not to mention our population is now 20 million more than 35 years ago.

So in reality we should now have 400-450k fully functional hospital beds .

There’s your problem the NHS has been systimeticaly torn apart by consecutive governments from all 3 major parties yet most will still cast their vote for one of the big 3

Phizer 96.2 % stops you catching covid
Moderna 92%
Astra Zeneca 86%

Then when those jabbed were still getting sick with covid they changed the goalposts and said well Youv less chance of catching it and you will be less sick .

Swill your mouth with mouthwash within 20 seconds of coming into contact with covid and it kills it 🤣🤣🤣

Stick to what you understand (clearly not immunovirology or clinical trials). The UK government were indeed taking the piss (again) but COVID is an international phenomenon.
