I ended up watching all the Mexico ones too and I thought they were amazing! Addictive viewing for sure and like you say, it definitely rivals for original for the top spot!

Just finished episode 3, DEA tricked Zuno into getting on the private jet and flying him to Texas.
I love all the cameo appearances from the Colombian Cartels. The gay fella from Cali is excellent. Brilliant scenes with him and that weird Keith Lemon assassin bloke at Felix 40th birthday party.
Further back, Pablo saying he wouldn't feed Felix to his hippos because, like Columbians, they don't like Mexicans either haha.
Need to finish off the Mexico ones. Love the interlacing of the Colombians throughout.

Just finished season 2 of the original Narco's series, brilliant! Onto season 3 tomorrow and then Narco's Mexico. I've already watched El Chapo.

Narcos Mexico is immense...
for anyone interested in pablo escobar, this is a good watch. will take a while to get through it but more believable and closer to the truth than narcos imo.

Both Narcos and Narcos Mexico are best things on Netflix
The original Narcos series are absolutely quality television. Mexico is very good also but not a patch on the Escobar series.

Both absolutely brilliant. Mexico at the same level as the original for me. Couldn't recommend more. Loved watching them.
We set the language to Spanish and flicked on the English subtitles. Much better experience.

Desperate for more started watching Chapo, struggled at first due to the dubbing but got into it and enjoyed it in the end.
But Narcos was a class show.
