N64 Retro Gaming Place In Newcastle

OOOSH YEAH

Striker
What a good place this is.

Had a dodge in last week. Was pissed but I seem to remember it was £8 a cocktail but you got 8 coins to play on loads of 80s and 90s coin op games like double dragon, outrun, street fighter etc as part of the £8

I definitely remember Neck Oil and gamma ray was £4 a pint.

Anyway it’s definitely worth a dodge in there.

Im at the cluny tomorrow night for a gig but will call in to smash me lass at street fighter for a bit as we have about £30 worth of tokens left

More of a PS1 fella but it's good this era is celebrated still

ps2 is the best console ever in my opinion, then followed by the 360 a damned shame I can't be arsed anymore with gaming

I've got a retro games console with thousands of games built in and on a SD card. It's got games off just about every console from the 80s 90s. Mega drive, master system, the Nintendo consoles and the Neo Geo. I've got a wireless mega drive pad for it and it's good fun to play the platform games of my younger years.
Modern games seem to be first person shooters, FIFA and little else. Give me the old stuff anytime.

Goldeneye was the boy
Wasn’t on coin op though as far as I can remember. This is a place where it’s loads of old 90s arcade games on actual arcade systems. IE when you die you actually die. I had to walk away from ‘ridge racer’ as it seemed to be going on forever

Oh, thought with it being called N64 would at least have one of the greatest games on the console.

So many hours played! Your mate was a wanker if he played as odd job in death matches well

One in Edinburgh too, it's something different to do, reasonable prices, good range of games. Discovered I was a) still got it on F1 b) still absolutely shit at Asteroids.

Even when we where boys.lads that played on video games where a bit weird like.
IE: teenagers who believed in wrestling and used to have a pencil case at school.

More nonsense from you there mind gilly.

Loved video games still do, but I played football and county rugby right through my teenage years.

My muscle adorned body is what attracted the wife.

Don’t take this personally mate but I’ve never a bloke yet who plays on video games who’s not a right lazy bad tempered fucker till about noon. They are all like spoilt bairns from my experience.
Their kips generally leave a lot to be desired aswell.

Probably crisp packets and dairy Lea dunkers kind of mess all over . Then his mam cleans it up every few days.

Looks class. I'm going to have a look in when I am out in Newcastle next month.
It’s excellent. The drink is dirt cheap as well
Getting released again on switch and Xbox
I was in other week. Cocktails had some canny names. But neck oil was canny.

I am sure it was £8 just for tokens.

They did have Mario kart arcade from what I remember.

Nearly everyone at my school had a console. You’d have been in the minority where I lived. Also arcades like this one we’re hugely popular for kids in their teens. When you grow up if you’re still playing on consoles all the time there’s summat a bit odd about that but then you might not be able to go out and socialise
