Mowbray

Abandoned the team for the fantasy of better football. Fuck me, picking Pritchard in any position to me is heresy ,useless little me me me fucker, but playing him in midfield was a dereliction of duty. Today of all days to fuck up as badly as he has just zoomed us back to Old Sunderland, the fuck up thats been Sunderland AFC for the last 20 years+. Now Mr Mowbray please start this week by making sure we can defend properly, pick a shape that gives us a strong base and stop throwing games away. Just a suggestion but - Hume, Ballard, Batth, Alese or O9, Cirkin. The rest ? As long it includes Clarke and Amad not sure I really care tonight.

I will have played at a higher level than you pal and I can guarantee all three of those goals would have happened from those situations irrespective of it Stewart or another striker was on the pitch

Since you are a footballing guru talk me through those situations and how a striker would have prevented them please…
I guarantee you haven't PAL, you aren't listening , I'm saying having no striker affects you from kick off and dictates your whole performance. You just can't grasp the fact we are playing games without a striker. Bet you haven't played in many if at all in while of your footballing life, if you've played at such a high level. Have you?
I'm not saying it's not a problem but not having any control of the midfield is worse which means the only thing you can do is play long ball and well...

We have way too many wingers who are near identical and are all soft. Man City etc win from the midfield not banging balls over the top. If we had a decent striker today, they'd just mark them to pieces and we'd just lob them up over and over again anyway as the midfield was piss poor (we did it anyway).
JESUS how can you control midfield when they can commit more as we have jack shit up front and could potentially just leave one at back as gelhardt is going to do no one with pace

Your paragraph doesn’t make sense. I’m not a clown I understand that a striker makes a difference.

However, the situations the goals arose from were from tactical errors generally in midfield, defence or in transitions so I’m totally struggling to grasp how a striker may influence them…

Please indulge me and talk me through how a striker could have prevented the goals from the situations that arose….

I’m totally behind him, but this result is atrocious. No excuses. He’s got everything wrong. Mind, he’s been dealt an awful hand by the January window fallout.

Players have lost belief, doesn’t matter how he shuffles the pack today was coming. It’s a minor miracle what he has got out of this team this season

See you clearly can’t come up with an answer to my statements so are talking shite, be a man and defend your point of view if you are so passionate about it

Look mate the other poster summed it up well.
Not having a striker dictates the whole pattern of the game.
Managers know they can just come and pack the centre so we cant play through them.

We cant play it over the top because there is noone running on and there is no one on the end of crosses. Embarrassing you cant see it.
We will be lucky to win another home game

Mowbray resigning
Ditch the transfer policy of signing unproven kids and replace it with a common sense approach and blend of youth and experience
Appoint a tactically astute positive forward thinking manager
Forget about consolidation and aim high
The problem the club is is they know they have to do something a bit different due to having one of the lower budgets in the league. So to replicate an approach commonly used at other championship clubs will likely see us fighting towards the bottom of the table.

Why can’t we compete with the likes of Luton we must be pulling in three times as much money at least, we need to add some experience to this very young squad or we will waste their talents

Thats because there a lot of 'young' wingers about

Not that exact situation , but maybe build ups before then, then they are leaving how to get through us after every situation. Dont patronise me mate. When you say trasitions, could be when we are trying to attack they are totally compact and we have no outlet at all. I'm sure you said not having a striker is no excuse, but then you admit it makes a differenceπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚I give up your just arguing for sake of it and your 4 seasons in the wearside leagueπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Of course we can question him. We've got physical players who could've started but were overlooked.

That said, he hasn't got too many options to change it around.
We have no physical players apart from O9 who had an absolute shocker when he came on.With a bid striker we would not have lost that game.Anyone who blames Mowbray is in my view moronic.

So us not having an out and our striker in whole squad isn't our biggest problem?πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚this place is absolutely comical. Can't read anymore. Deleting my account🀦

No but go to have option to go long if you need to🀦don't even know why I'm trying to explainπŸ˜‚

What about so far this season? What has neal done this season other than today? Stop being so stubborn trying to blame the bloke , granted he'll have made mistakes today, but like I said earlier name me 1 just 1 team who haven't got a striker in their squad in UK or even Europe?

Sunderland
