Big Free fan ya kna?I think Bob is the classic tears of a clown. I think he looks very sad interspersed with brief moments of zany levity.
I hope he’s ok as I do like him.
That might be catfish. And they get huge catfish. The size of a man.Christmas Special coming from the Lot river in Cahors, France next month.
Gone Christmas Fishing takes Paul and Bob to Cahors in the South-West of France where they celebrate another eventful year of fishing together. Under the warm Autumnal French sun, they fish the river Cele and the Lot in search of Mediterranean Bass and huge French Carp.
In this hour-long special programme, they reflect on the highs and lows of the year gone by while pondering what treats the New Year could bring, apart from more fishing of course.
The annual awards ceremony holds more unusual surprises including a very special guest and they stay in an old French Chateau which boasts its own vineyard... could it be any more perfect? Possibly, if fishing dog Ted makes it across the channel and through border control in time to join them for their annual party.
The show ends with a very special video message for Bob and Paul as they take the long way home.

Yup. He could have added a bit of humour about also burning his own house down a couple of years later.Xmas special 2020 on BBC2 (Boro/N Yorks). Absolutely brilliant. Tears in my eyes as Bobs talked about the death of his dad when he was 6 as he stood outside the family home.
WeirdoYup. He could have added a bit of humour about also burning his own house down a couple of years later.
I don't think he meant it. Was a firework iirc.Weirdo
In particular he likes Andy Fraser. Which we have in common. I was surprised to hear a solo Fraser song in the soundtrack of one of the early episodes.Big Free fan ya kna?
