Michael Vaughan

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahah. No wonder he’s been silent on this issue. Haahahahah jesus. Some craic  nearly spat the cornflakes out here.

whilst i’m not a fan of cancel culture it’s be brilliant if MV got a full cancelling off the back of this.

If the witnesses corroborate that Vaughan has said this there is surely no way back for him, shocking comments certainly the one that really stood out when I read the inital account of what went on.

I dont believe cancel culture exists as a concept (despite all the fury, none of them are really cancelled, no matter their crimes - they always come back eventually/ continue to have a platform), and I have no doubt he'll be on GB News/ The Daily Mail/ running for parliament on free speech grounds in the near future.

But just not having to listen to him in commentary/ test match special anymore would be a winner.

‘Cancel culture’ is a load of bollocks anyway. It’s just a term thrown around by raging bigots to make them feel better when they or their idols are being held accountable for their words and actions.

I remember during covid "stay local" advice after Vaughan slagged off people for covid breaches.... He then went on holiday to Cornwall   . Can't stand the fella,

Dont know how much weight producing a couple of witnesses who claim they can remember something that was said 12 years ago, and said nothing about it since. Could actually be counterproductive to the case, arguing that if racism was as widespread as is being claimed, how can these individuals remember one specific comment from more than a decade ago.
