Michael Vaughan

Strange one really. He does seem to have gone all zany and become a bit of an attention seeker in recent years, which is so far removed from how he was as a cricketer and a captain.

I can't put my finger on what's led to the change but he's like a different person at times which is a shame I still want to really like him.

Ah yes, the old outspoken political opinions I don't like = unpleasant tosser.

When in reality it's more likely the cap fits with the bigot.

Swann has a good heart, he is just annoying, in like an office joker who wears a wacky tie type of way

Wouldnt want to socialise with him, but I dont think he is unpleasant like someone like Vaughan

I don’t mind Swann, he’s a bit like the annoying mate who wants to make a joke out of everything but I think he’s fundamentally a good lad. One of the few who was prepared to be quite vocal about Pietersen in the Sky documentary that was on not so long back, out of loyalty to Cook and others.

Think he gets a bad press on here because of the football team he supports tbh

Absolutely agree yeah. Totally agree on the Pietersen point too. The others, Jimmy, Broad, Cook are too nice to say out about Pietersen.

As I said, he is annoying and I don't find his humour funny, IMO anyway, but he is pretty harmless.

Bell was talking bout team mates when he retired, said he could be pretty annoying, but was good to have around as he didn't take game too seriously, which is key in pressure moments.

Someone like Pietersen going out of his way to cause trouble and undermine people, is just the other end of the scale.

I pretty much agree with everything Swann says, just not particularly the manor he says it.

 deary me.

i've always said this about him on commentary, he can be absolutely spot on or a complete tosser depending on who he is on with. when he takes it seriously he's really interesting and informative about cricket, when he's 'one of the lads' he sounds like he's trying far too hard and not worth listening to.

You’ve some nerve

christ! even worse that

Yeah he thinks covid is no big deal and we should just get over it and get on with it, if you read his tweets

all based on the fact he can't go for a pint basically.

He is a conservative, Brexit supporting bloke btw, which he is entitled too, but some of things he says put him on the extreme of that view point

Desperate to keep himself relevant I guess. Real shame as I thought he was a genius captain and a very good batsman.

I reckon it's the hair transplant that has changed him. You rarely find an arrogant bald man - we are all very humble

Ah yes, I forgot you're not allowed to have an opinion around intolerant bigots (I recognise that's tautologous, but what the hell). Just as well I've not shown a cartoon mocking Sunderland, you'd probably want to behead me about now.

Feel free to come up with some actual counterarguments and elevate yourself above the crowd here.

Absolute f***ing nonsense again eh?

It’s astonishing that you can’t see the irony of your anti bigotry views.
