Melvin Bard - (transfer rumour)

I think reinildo will play left CB and put LB for Cikin/Bard. that what i think. i dont think Cirkin will leave. I'll be shocked if he goes.

I don’t know Reinildo very well, but apparently he’s a defensive LB and isn’t as hot at CB

I agree though in that a left sided CB would be a huge priority for me

Neil may be regretting not signing a contract when he had the opportunity, he’ll now find himself on the periphery if not out the door altogether, unless this is what he wanted all along.
I honestly think he wants first team football and if that can’t be guaranteed then explains dragging heels. We’ve signed 3 midfielders which doesn’t scream Neil having a secured spot.

If anybody want a sense of the man, and the poet, I think he’s actually not dissimilar to Cirkin when Dennis is on top of his game.

Good engine, carries the ball well, bursts forward, decent in the tackle and a nice delivery
Hopefully alese can get fit
I like Alese. I think his pace allowed us to play hard pressing earlier in the season. It meant we were safe from the ball over the top so could push on more. When he got injured, I think we had to sit back more

People underestimate Cirkin he’s kind of player that needs 5 games on the bounce to get upto speed he’s a great player esp with mundle headed of him they work great and he’s got a goal in him also though he was excellent as left centre back when he filled in there

Yeah we looked great start of season with him left centre back and Cirkin left back it allowed Cirkin to push on and it was great for balls down the line the balance was good

Cirkin is an excellent player. However there was a dramatic drop off in performance both physically and also some very poor lapses in concentration following his injury. Hopefully he’ll get back to his usual high standard for the new season

I don't watch much European football anymore but do read a lot about it via The Athletic and other various sources but the theme seems to be that he's an excellent defender but doesn't offer much going forward. Looks to be a great addition either way.

Also had a lot of mental health issues last year. Agree, great player that would be sad to see go. Think we will sell at least one more first teamer from last year though.
