IMO Cirkin will be gone this summer no doubt. Not signed a new deal and we won’t want him to leave for free. The sale will be good for PSR too. Same goes for Neil.

Anything over £15m for Neil would be good business.

Injuries can be isolating and he’s had more than his fair share. I think it’s been alluded to that his dad’s untimely death still weighs heavy on him.

Footballers are people, maybe being closer to home and his family is what he needs. Wouldn’t begrudge him that, and he’s been one of my favourite players over the last few years.

Neil may be regretting not signing a contract when he had the opportunity, he’ll now find himself on the periphery if not out the door altogether, unless this is what he wanted all along.
