I'd like that to be true. As much as I've enjoyed him being in our team I've equally disliked him being injured regularly. Same with Alese but on a much bigger injury to playing well ratio.
We haven't or can't afford a big squad in this league with players on big Premier wages, we need to try and find players who aren't as injury prone.

Cirkins lack of pace has always concerned me. I recall Ogbene ripping him apart in the 1-5 three/four seasons ago at Rotherham as an example.
Plus as a few have said, he is prone to spells out injured.
Would prefer to keep but anything near 10m has to be considered.

I also worry about too much churn disrupting team spirit. But if Neil and Cirkin won’t sign then the Club will simply have to cash in.
