I was going to buy a sandwich in a small shop and checked the sell by date. instead of finding a short sell by I found the opposite. The date was weeks into the future which made me think what the hell had they put into the ingredients to make it last that long. I didn't fancy eating a chemical sandwich so gave it a miss.

All shit. The Tesco's Finest salmon and cream cheese sarnie is okay but other than that, the supermarket offering are awful. Sainsbury's did an okay ham hock one at one point.

M&S king prawn and avocado ciabatta and Pret's prosciutto baguette are my go-to sarnies.

If you don't have an M&S or Pret near you that isn't my fault by the way, before anyone starts.

Clearly the correct answer and exposed lots of seething envy at the same time. Have a like.

It will be the dish of the day,so soup and a bowl of bread and usually a choice of chicken, pork or fish with chips, rice, salad, and half a litre of wine and a coffee,€5.00 for the lot 😁
