I moved from the weststand to the South West corner, as we found out at the time you couldnt move down a price level as it come up error on the payment screen - I reserved the seats I wanted when they hold on the website, phoned up and bought them over the phone

Direct from Keel Sq, into the back of the expanded South Tribune, then along the East Stand and ower the road to the Taven. It'll then continue up to Suddick Allotments, before coming back across the river at the Saltgrass and up Deptford Bank back to Keel Sq.

Come on KLD and Sunderland Council get it sorted.
 
First of all thanks to everyone involved, appreciate it takes time and effort.

Two things stand out for me:

1. We're back to the meetings having no actions. A big issue is that things are discussed but then nobody is accountable after or has any deadline to target.

2. There's never an excuse for ticket office staff getting abuse but the club should be looking at why some fans are getting so irate. I'm guessing it's because of the rigid structures or poor service we've seen highlighted on here.

"Who's the b*stard in the black " is the usual. I dont want the tannoy orchestrating " Tip toe through thenTulips" while some ponce official that has stuck it to us for 45 minutes slopes off for a free biscuit .
 
Don't want to be too critical, firstly as it's very difficult and context doesn't always translate into minutes, but also we know there was a separate ticketing meeting before this where most of the concerns would have been raised and you wouldn't expect the same topics to be repeated.

We don't know exactly what was discussed at the ticket meeting though so that won't go away until we see a proper resolution.

It's a little bit disappointing to see things like non-segregation match go unchallenged. We don't know what that means, I suspect it's along the lines of no netting between home and away which is fine rather than full on mixed but it's open to interpretation.

The overwhelming sentiment going into the meeting was that on the pitch = great, off the pitch = big concerns about the direction the club is heading in and the treatment of fans - it would have been good to see that addressed and made clear it was not acceptable.

For the first time in my life it feels like the club is extremely ambitious and shooting for the stars. That is great but there's a fine balance and there's a nagging feeling in my mind that some/many genuine fans are going to be left behind.

Sounds sensible.
Might need to bolt on more depending on what they envisage. Might be thinking of a redesign versus what was ironically intended given new grounds are now money making machines with huge concourses/corporate etc.

On another note, I hope there's a good police presence when Coventry come to town!

I think this'll be the case when it comes round to it. Will make us much more attractive for concerts and the like too.

I don’t think it means that. Surely it just means removing the divide netting from the upper corner? We used to have next to no segregation in the South Stand when the away end was full. Just some black barriers going down the stairs and some stewards.

Pretty disappointing if asked in neither as it was raised by several people on here.

Also the fact the fee for changing season tickets seat was highlighted as being £20 rather than £40 and it appears they think that's ok shows where we are at now.

I can’t believe this wasn’t challenged in the minutes. A £20 charge for the ticket office to do their job. Mental.

Clubs (generically) do not want to be discounting their main product (match tickets) for season tickets, when there's a queue of people who can't get in. Those who are only going once or twice a season are more likely to buy a membership, a shirt, food inside the ground etc. as you point out.

Mags have found this given some of the laughable off-site hospitality experiences they've been flogging, but it sharp came back to bite them on the arse seeing how tickets were readily available via resale for their last couple of home games when the form went off a cliff.

Side point but 'FG would like to kick start the atmosphere at the start of the second half and wondered if singing a newsong at the end of half-time would develop the atmosphere.' - I hope to God they've learned from the negative reaction to playing Can't Help Falling in Love, a couple of times at the start of the second half.

Also not discussed but I wish they would consider putting maybe 50 to 100 of the away ticket allocation (so ~3% for most games) into a ballot to give younger fans a chance of an away day. I was fortunate to be able to take my lad to the Everton cup game but odds are we won't get to another for at least a couple of years.

Your point of 50-100 for young fans is a mute point can’t get a ticket if under 14 so your now saying Jonny come lately should get a ticket because he’s taking his 10 year old?

It was outlined on the seat map where the railings would be added. If there’s no other seats available it shouldn’t be stopping future improvements to the stadium

Must mean the whole lot unless we have some ambitious plans for the east stand. The way the stadium was built means it’s a lot easier to whip the roof off and extend it. £250m seems expensive for one stand.
