Good luck to him. Its an interesting one, he's 24 now and we released him when he was 22 so it's not like he was a kid, but someone like him coming through could have potentially been back up to Mclaughlin at this level and saved the signings and wages of Burge/Matthews.
It was all down to experience wasnt trusted due to limited experience.

Hope we dont fail Patterson the same way. Not allowing him to go on loan as hes 3rd choice but not enough experience to be pushing 1 and 2 keepers

I'm surprised to see that he didn't make a first team appearance in a competitive match. While we did send him out on loan, it appears we didn't offer him the best opportunity while he was here.

Burge is a decent enough No.2. Matthews is Steele/Camp bad. Regardless of what league we find ourselves in next season. GK is a priority position for me.
