Aye, he sounded fed up but it's a bit of a worry. Basically sounded like he was just going to ease up for a week or so then try to step up again.

I’ve faced some relatively sharp bowlers but there’s not enough protective gear available that would convince me to stand in front of that. Even the thought of him pitching it back of a length would be enough to worry about without him actually doing it

The talk a few weeks ago was that he was targeting the 50 over cup.

Time will tell but that was the craic at the ground and a few others mentioned it last week. Might give him a couple of games with Durham before joining up for that silly competition.
